It has only been 7 days! It has truly been an exceptionally amazing blessing. We have been to 3 completely different geographical locations, the fast moving cosmopolitan city of Tel Aviv. The sedate, beautiful, tranquility that oozes out of the Sea of Galilee and the multicultural wonderment of dynamism in how, somehow it works in Jerusalem. All during God’s appointed times, the Seventh feast of the year, the feast of Tabernacles.
Along the way we have been to places of tremendous importance in Jesus Christ’s life, ministry, death and resurrection.
We have met complete strangers who have helped our journey with a true heart of Love and blessing. We have stopped in a family home filled the presence of God’s Love and dripping with spiritual blessing and warmth where we have been welcomed like long lost sons , we have met with our friends from our home town of Rochdale whom are on a truly amazing Holy Spirit fired mission where we have been blessed by coming into contact with the sparks from the tail .
This is my first time in the Holy Land of God’s chosen people , that was inspired by somebody giving me a small tourist map , a seed dropped in , I never thought that I would travel here , if I ever thought about it , it would have been excuses …it’s too dangerous….it’s too expensive….etc., it is none of the things that would have stopped me, it was only ever going to be me that stopped me from doing this, like many things on a Christian journey, it is us that stops us, God says GO!
So I have a map to give to someone else, to pass on, to sew a seed of curiosity, could this map be for you? Just ask if it is. Me , I will definitely be returning to the promised land of milk and honey, with a different direction, as although the list of things we have done is amazing, it has only just opened my spiritual eyes wider than ever before, leaving me hungry and thirsty for more!
I may think we did a lot in 7 day’s , look what God did in 7 day’s!
God bless
