Good News today and thanking the Lord for His provision! Jehovah Jireh. Today we have taken delivery of supplies for my ministry from THE4POINTS.COM. For distribution to whomever, it may be or as directed. Primarily we have received 1,000 tracts, numerous wristbands & tee shirts.
We have formed a link with Dave Sharples MBE, the director of The 4 points.com ministry, as they recognise and honour the simplicity of the Gospel and there is a continuation of the Four Spiritual Laws which I try to follow when witnessing to individuals.
What is the 4 points origin?
In 1995, Dave and his wife went to Metro ministries in New York where they were inspired by the work of Bill Wilson and quickly adopted many principles of their ministry. One of those was a simple way to communicate the Gospel called “The four most important things in the world!” which is similar to the wordless gospel first used by Spurgeon in 1866 to explain the Gospel to inner-city orphans in London, and the Four Spiritual Laws tract written by Bill Bright in 1952. They started teaching the four most important things every week but changed the name to the4points to make it simpler. They used verbal repetition and visual illustration to help the kids remember each point.
GOD LOVES ME
The four points is a very simple overview of the Bible and the first thing you need to know is that God is crazy about you! His love for you is unlimited and completely unconditional. There is nothing you can do to make God love you any more or less than He does right now. There is nothing that God wants more than to love and be loved by you.
Bible: Psalm 100 v 5,
1 John 3 v 16
Sadly we have been separated by God’s love by something calls sin. Simply put sin is when we choose to live for ourselves rather than God. We sin when we ignore God, break His laws and basically do things our own way. Sin destroys relationships with friends, with family and with God. The Bible says that sin ultimately brings death.
Bible: Isaiah 59 v 2
James 1 v 5.
The third point is probably one of the most well-known facts in the history of mankind but is often misunderstood. The key is to realise that the penalty for sin is death. We’ve all sinned and we all deserve to die. But God, who is full of mercy, loved you so much that He sent Jesus to come and die n your place. Jesus died so that we can have eternal life.
Bible:
Romans 6 v 23
Romans 5 v 8.
I NEED TO DECIDE TO LIVE FOR GOD
Not only did Jesus die for our sin, three days later He rose from the dead! Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has now made a way for us to have a relationship with God. All you have to do is accept you’ve sinned, ask for God’s forgiveness and then decide to live the rest of your life only for Him. The choice is yours.
Bible: John 14:6, 1 John 1 v 9.
John 14:6, 1 John 1 v 9.
1 John 1 v 9.
I am excited about giving these tracts out, the simplicity of the Gospel can be delivered many ways, but it needs deliverers if you would like some of these tracts to hand out to neighbours, friends, work colleagues, then please contact me.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank those that generously supported us in this mission.
Amen
God Bless
